The 918CE, 918EF, and JN-08-20W Bug Zappers are designed to trap and kill a variety of insects, including mosquitoes, fruit flies, wasps, beetles, moths, Aedes, gnats, fleas, and aphids. These devices use exclusive blue-violet light waves in the range of 330nm-420nm, which can attract and trap more types of mosquitoes and bugs. The upgraded 18W lighting power provides a maximum coverage area of 1/2 acre.

The high-tech circuit design of these bug zappers features 36 positive and negative grids that release a high-voltage current at a frequency of 0.01 seconds, continuously killing insects and mosquitoes near the grid to prevent their escape.
